Dog Cave Size Guide
Why is the right size dog cave so important?
- If you don't choose the right size, your dog will never like to lie down in the cave or maybe not at all. Often a dog won't lie down if the size is too small.
- If the cave is too small they can't make the turn properly. It's better to take a size too big than a size too small
- To prevent your dog from getting cold in the cave.
- An incorrectly sized cave can lead to restlessness in your dog and poor (night) rest.
- The wrong size dog cage can lead to sore muscles or joints and cause back problems.
To determine the correct size dog cave you will need:
- the weight of your dog
- the back length
- the height at the withers
How do you measure back length?:
1. Let your relaxed dog stand
2. Measure from the shoulder blades to the tail set-in using a flexible measuring tape

Please note: do not measure your dog lying down or from the highest point of the head including tail
