NB!! Breeds such as Vizsla, Ridgeback, Weimaraner, Dalmatian, German Shorthair and Labrador do not fit in a size L | 90cm dog cave, because they cannot turn properly and cannot lie down. For these breeds choose a size XL | 115cm!
The above is a guideline. If in doubt, choose a size larger . Keep in mind that many dogs want to sleep both curled up and stretched out in a dog cave. They also need to be able to turn around to lie down and sleep in it. If the cave is too small, they can't do that and won't go in.

Easy to wash in the washing machine
The outer cover can easily be washed in the washing machine . Always use the supplied washing bag to protect the outer cover and your washing machine. The inner cushion with memory foam flakes cannot be washed.
The herringbone pattern makes stains and dog hair less noticeable. How nice is that.
The inside of the cave has a very soft teddy fabric in the color off-white . Because the teddy fabric is off-white, dogs dare to lie in this dog cave faster and easier than a dark color.
ORTHOPEDIC MEMORY FOAM PADDING
This dog cave has an orthopedic filling made of the best quality memory foam. The filling works pressure-relieving for your dog's joints, which is especially nice for older dogs that suffer from their joints.
In addition, the orthopedic filling takes the shape of your dog when your dog is sleeping and springs back when your dog leaves the cave. You do not have to shake the cave every day. In addition, you can easily add or remove filling from the inner cover. This way, your dog always has a wonderful place to sleep!
Anti-slip bottom
The bottom of the cave is waterproof with anti-slip. The cave therefore stays on every floor and does not slide away. The dog cave is also suitable for floors with underfloor heating.
With or without bow
Your dog can sleep in it with or without the arch, which is easy to slide in or remove.
We recommend using the bow only for the first few days if your dog is not used to a cave yet. It can be nice to use a tube in the beginning, so your dog can crawl into the cave more easily and learn. Once your dog is used to the cave, take the bow out.
We do not use a bow for our own Nova (Vizsla). If the tube is in it, your dog will have a harder time lying on top of the cave, because the hard tube will be in the way. Our own Nova (Vizsla) sleeps in it or lies on top of it; a bow is therefore not nice for her either.
Handle
At the front of the NOOFF® dog cave you will find a handle (only for size 65cm and 90cm), so that you can move the cave more easily. But it is best to lift the cave as a whole. Always lift a size 115cm as a whole, otherwise the fabric can tear. !!note!!: do not lift the cave by the blanket or the fabric, this is not possible due to the weight of the filling.
Dogs often do not like to lie directly on a cold or hard floor. The NOOFF® cave does not lie directly on the ground but 8-10cm above the ground compared to traditional dog cushions. Dogs generally find this more comfortable to sleep on. The cave is ideal for holidays - in a tent, a cold floor in a cottage, your dog always lies 'familiar' and warm.
Our own Nova (Vizsla) sleeps in it in the winter but also when it is 30 degrees outside.

What are the differences between the NOOFF® dog cave and Snoozer Cozy Cave?
- The snoozer cozy cave does not have an anti-slip bottom, but the NOOFF® dog cave does, which means the cave stays in place.
- the snoozer cozy cave does not have orthopedic memory foam filling, the NOOFF® dog cave does. This reduces pressure on the joints
- the blanket of the snoozer cozy cave is tighter, the blanket of the NOOFF® dog cave is looser, which makes it quicker/easier for dogs to crawl under it
- we have used other fabrics, including our teddy fabric, which is really super soft

Can this cave be washed?
Yes, the outer cover of the cave can be washed in the washing machine. Don't do this too often, then your cave will stay beautiful the longest. The inner cushion cannot be washed.
Washing instructions outer cover
Try to wash the outer cover as little as possible , the less you wash it the longer the cave will stay nice.
- wash the outer cover inside out with the zipper closed . If you don't do this the zipper or cave will break because it will hit the drum.
- always remove the tube from the cave
- Always wash the outer cover in the NOOFF® washing bag , this way you protect the cave as well as your washing machine.
- washable at 30 degrees, delicate wash program.
- no detergent with bleach otherwise the cave may discolour
- do not tumble dry, wash the cover on a drying rack
- do not iron & do not bleach
Tip! You can also wipe the outer cover with a damp cloth for the worst stains.
Is this cave suitable for a puppy?
We recommend that you only purchase this cave once your dog has lost all of its teeth and is no longer biting or destroying , so that you can all enjoy your cave for the longest time possible.
The cave can really take a beating. But this cave is not suitable for puppy teeth, but then again, no dog bed is 😉.
How do I teach my dog to sleep in the cave?
It is important that you help your dog get into the cave during the first few weeks.
Over time they can and dare to get into it themselves.
Roadmap:
- Hold up the blanket for your dog. Place a snack in the cave so that your dog can easily reach it.
- Hold up the blanket for your dog. Now place the snack a little further in the back of the cave and keep practicing this. Always place the snack a little further in the cave.
- Does your dog stand in front of the cave on its own? Then hold the blanket up and give your dog a snack as a reward as soon as he crawls into the cave.
- Eventually your dog will automatically stand in front of the cave and encourage your dog by lying down in the cave on its own. If your dog is lying comfortably in his or her cave, reward him with a snack or a 'sleep well'.
Does there always have to be an arch in the cave?
No. The tube makes it easier for the entrance to the cave to remain open.

Of course! This is easier for your dog if there is no tube in the arch.
Is this cave suitable for all dog breeds?
We recommend this cave for dog breeds that like to lie under a blanket and dogs that generally get cold a little faster than other dogs.
A dog breed such as Australian Shepards, Shepherds, etc. has less of this need, so we do not recommend it for these types of breeds.
What are the benefits of this orthopedic filling?
This orthopedic filling with memory foam flakes reduces pressure on both your dog's spine and joints.
You do not have to shake this orthopedic filling every day compared to a filling that is normally made of siliconized fibers or polyester flakes.
This basket is suitable for both young and older dogs. The NOOFF® dog cave is therefore extremely suitable for dogs with osteoarthritis.
Why is the right size so important?
- If you don't choose the right size, your dog will never like to lie down in the cave or maybe not at all. Often a dog won't lie down if the size is too small.
- To prevent your dog from getting cold in the cave.
- An incorrectly sized cave can lead to restlessness in your dog and poor (night) rest.
- The wrong size dog cave can lead to painful muscles or joints. And therefore hip and/or back problems.

Wat een heerlijke cave! Mega zachte vulling, degelijke afwerking en stevige stoffen! Super tevreden!
Heerlijk om Moos te zien slapen op en in deze cave. Het kussen behoudt de oorspronkelijke vorm
Onze Dex is erg blij met zijn nieuwe hondencave. We vonden hem in 1e instantie wel wat groot maar Dex maakt er optimaal gebruik van.
De buis hebben wij er na levering wel ingedaan maar na een paar uur er ook weer uitgehaald 😄
Het kussen zelf vond hij meteen fijn.
We hebben even een beetje een deuk in het midden van de vulling gemaakt zodat Dex een lekker plekje heeft.
Onder het dekentje kruipen vind ie nog wat lastig maar daar wordt hij vanzelf handiger in en zo kan ie heerlijk slapen ☺️
Ik heb uiteindelijk de cave gekocht voor onze 2 teckels. Het is ontzettend hoogwaardig afgewerkt en gemaakt van super mooie kwaliteit. De vulling zou je zelf jaloers op worden haha de teckels liggen er heerlijk in en zeker voor degene met de hernia. Ik wou dat ik deze eerder had besteld maar ik twijfelde over de prijs maar dit is het echt waard!
Onze Diva vind de cave heerlijk, kruipt er graag in. Slaapt ‘s nachts nu in de cave in plaats van op de bank 😃. Mooie kwaliteit.
