What is BioThane®?
BioThane® comes from the USA. BioThane consists of a strong layer of nylon tape with a protective layer of plastic.
The NOOFF products are made from the original BioThane® Beta variant.
This is the variant closest to leather because of its 'handfeel' and suppleness. This makes BioThane® also a very popular product among vegans or non-leather users.

Disadvantages of BioThane
- A property of BioThane is that it becomes harder and stiffer over time and cracks can occur in the material. How quickly this happens depends very much on how "intensively" you use the collar or leash.
- When Biothane gets wet it can sometimes be a little more slippery in the hands
When should you not use BioThane?
- Do you have a dog or puppy that likes to bite the leash? Then unfortunately you will continue to see teeth marks in the BioThane
- BioThane is very strong but does not like being bitten or chewed. Does your dog like to chew on a leash or collar? Then it can be bitten through, this happens quite quickly, so keep a close eye on this (but that is actually the case with all dog leashes)
- When Biothane gets wet it can sometimes be a little more slippery in the hands
- Over time, cracks may develop in the BioThane if chemical products are used for dogs, such as flea products.
- With prolonged and very intensive use, BioThane may become stiffer over time

Eerste dag en meteen was onze Viszla Floki thuis in de nieuwen hondencave !
Wat een heerlijke cave! Mega zachte vulling, degelijke afwerking en stevige stoffen! Super tevreden!
Heel blij met deze halsband. Ik had nog nooit een halsband gekocht van BioThane, maar wat een fijn materiaal is dat. De halsband is helemaal te personaliseren en er zijn heel veel kleurtjes om uit te kiezen. Groot compliment voor de snelle levering. Ene dag besteld, volgende dag lag het pakje in de brievenbus.
Mijn pup is helemaal blij met deze jas! Makkelijk op maat te maken. Jas valt mooi en hij heeft het niet meer koud. Bedankt voor de snelle verzending, NOOFF.
We gaan deze uitproberen voor onze hond.

Vanwege mijn vragen en speciale wensen heel wat heen en weer geschreven. Altijd vriendelijk en meedenkend! Tevreden met mijn nieuwe, slanke 10meter speurlijn! 👍
Deze jas is écht een aanwinst ! Getest met een stevige noordoosten wind bij een temp. van 0 °C. Onze Rhodesian Ridgeback vind het normaal geen pretje er dan uit te moeten maar was nu geen enkel probleem. Jas is makkelijk in gebruik, handige sluiting op de rug. Ook blijft 'ie erg goed liggen, verschuift niet, ook niet tijdens het rennen. Zowel ik als Duuk zijn er blij mee !
En niet te vergeten: goede service, erg betrokken.
Echt een heel mooi en fijn tasje, waar ik standaard voertjes, stukjes long (super voertjes!), een kluifje (altijd handig om bij je te hebben met een pup), poepzakjes, portemonnee, clicker en een speeltje in heb zitten. Zo hoef ik alleen maar het tasje te pakken als ik weg ga met de pup, geen gedoe met spulletjes bij elkaar zoeken.
Enige kleine nadeel: het vakje met voertjes blijft niet ver open staan, waardoor het soms wat langer duurt voor ik een voertje te pakken heb. Voor echte training sessies gebruik ik hem daarom niet (maar dat hoeft ook niet), voor tussendoor belonen werkt het helemaal prima.
Wat een fijn tasje. Cross body of als heuptas te dragen.
Ideaal dat je het snack zakje er uit kan halen om schoon te maken.
En genoeg ruimte voor je sleutels, telefoon e.d.
Staat heel mooi en zit perfect!
Dit beloningstasje is echt een musthave voor elke hondeneigenaar. Ontzettend fijm tasje waar heel veel in kan en natuurlijk heerlijke snackies 😊

De lijnen van Nooff zijn echt super. Helemaal naar wens. Vooral de lengte is fijn, in de winkel heb je altijd alleen maar de standaard lengtes. Super degelijk materiaal en heel goed schoon te maken!
