- choice of nickel and solid brass
disadvantages
When is it better not to choose a carabiner?
- the breaking strength is slightly less strong compared to a carabiner. Do you have a large dog that pulls very hard and a lot on the leash? Then choose a carbiner instead of a musketon.
- Solid brass has a lower bleaching power compared to nickel, please take this into account

Check your dog's leash regularly!
Check and clean your dog leash regularly with a damp cloth or hold it under the tap.
Check that everything still functions properly and opens and closes easily. The hardware (carabiners, screws and rings) of a leash and collar in particular have to endure a lot, especially if your dog pulls a lot on the leash.
That is why it is really important that you check this regularly, so that you prevent a carabiner or other ring from breaking during your walks.
Do you have doubts whether the belt is still strong enough? Then buy a new belt!
